One thing that has remained constant throughout my journey is curiosity — about how people learn, connect, and make meaning across different contexts.

在我的旅程中，有一件事始终不变，那就是好奇心——关于人们如何在不同的环境中学习、联系和创造意义。

I grew up in the Greater Bay Area, moving between Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. That early exposure to multiple languages and cultural logics never left me. It later took me from China to the United Kingdom, where I completed an MA in Applied Linguistics and Language Education.

我在大湾区长大，在粤语、普通话和英语之间转换。早期对多种语言和文化逻辑的接触从未离开过我。后来我从中国来到英国，在那里我获得了应用语言学和语言教育的硕士学位。

Over the years, I have worked across translation, cross-border commerce, university teaching, international-school education, and educational technology. I've been a translator, a business builder, a teacher, and now a learning designer and educational technology practitioner. I don't see this as a zigzag; I see it as one coherent line — one that happens to pass through multiple industries. Each move taught me to look at learning from a different angle. I know what it feels like to translate not just text, but expectations — between what a teacher needs, what a product can deliver, and what a learner actually experiences.

多年来，我从事过翻译、跨境商务、大学教学、国际学校教育和教育技术等工作。我做过翻译、业务建设者、教师，现在是学习设计者和教育技术实践者。我不认为这是曲折的；我认为这是一条连贯的线——恰好穿过多个行业。每一步都教会我从不同的角度看待学习。我知道不仅仅是翻译文本，而是翻译期望的感觉——在老师需要什么、产品能提供什么和学习者实际经历什么之间。

My work today sits at the intersection of instructional design, learning experience design, and educational technology — open to what comes next.
